Each year, kids from St. Bernard's Music Camp learn and rehearse a short children's musical, to be presented at the end of the week. This year the show we have selected is "Life Is Good!" The show starts with all the kids entering singing an energetic contemporary song entitled "Life Is Good," when a young heckler decides to interrupt the performance saying life isn't always so good. With a wacky computer to aid them, and a Bible written in rhyme, the kids visit Eden to find where all the trouble began. Bible characters such as Jonah, Noah, Job, David and many others are brought to life in fun songs and dramatic sketches, and when the kids discover the real joy of the Lord, they finally agree that "Life Is Good!"
The camp is for children entering Kindergarten in the Fall, through 8th Grade. We'll also have some other musical activities, games, crafts andof course snacks. Cost is $75 per child for the week, with a maximum of $125 for a family and includes a t-shirt for each child. Signups begin the weekend of May 8th.
